Good Learner Bike??

hi everyone,
i've got a gilera dna 50 for sale ATM,
and ive just had an e-mail asking if i'd like to swap it for a yamaha 400cc special,
is this a good bike to get used to gears etc. on?

I dont see why not mate, not sure on the price of these, see what condition its in, what it needs doing ect.
Probably be a nice bike to learn on, see how much hes selling it for, might be able to have your cake and eat it.
