Hi all, i recently braught a 1980 Honda H100 S as my first bike and she does run like a dream. I only ever got given one key for it thou, and today, it has sheered off in the steering lock, leaving me to walk the bike home - luckly wasnt far. I now have no key for the ignition, and cannot retrieve the bottom half of the key now permanently lodged in the steering lock Evil or Very Mad

Is there anything i can do? i mean, will a locksmith be able to simply cut me a new key given the numbers on the top of the key or will i need a whole new barrel?

try sticking a bit of super glue on the end of the key and put it back into the ignition give it a few seconds and pull it out hopefully it should withdraw the end of the key

it worked for me once just go carefull not to glue the key in the ignition Confused

failing that its a new barrel i reckon

cheers for that mate, i might carefully give it a go later, thou its jammed in the steering lock not the ignition so it won't matter so much if i do glue it up Cool
