Two motorcyclists have been killed in a collision on the A360 in south Wiltshire.

A scooter ridden by a 22-year-old man from Orcheston made a right turn and collided with a Triumph motorbike being driven in the opposite direction.

The Triumph rider, from Marlborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The scooter driver was airlifted to Salisbury District Hospital but later died. Police are appealing for witnesses to Monday night's accident.

The road was closed for more than three hours while the collision was investigated.

Hi
At a guess triumph rider going too fast round a lfet hand bend, went into opposite lane, etc.

Normally what happens in fatal crashes in a head on collision.
