With all this talk of speeding I wondered how many had actually broken the double tonne (200mph) (GPS backed up not wild speedo readings)?

I've always wanted to bust the 200mph mark as it's kind of a milestone in performance terms (and it is worth bragging about Wink )

If you have done it, what was it on...tuned busa/12R etc?

Thumbs Up

Don't think that there will be many, if any on here who have.

Those that have, probably have access to millbrook, although it might be possible at the banked Rockingham circuit in Corby, the bikes would need to be moddified to take the downforce though, there are a couple of long downhill straights in scotland that could be candidates too, The fastest ive been was probably in a Formula 3 car, though it had no speedo (well he didnt say it was for bikes only)

Well, i can hit the speed limiter fairly easily on my ZX10R, so that must mean i'm travelling at 186mph.

That is a fair way up the rev range in top too, so i would guess its only got a few more mph in it without the restriction, it would possibly hit 190mph on its current gearing as standard.

What would a swallow actually be laden with ?
A suitcase and a set of golf clubs as they head for the sun ?

It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.

But then of course African swallows are non-migratory, so it wouldn't bring back a coconut
