Does anyone know if this is the right cdi uni to get rid of the japenese 10k rev restriction on my zxr400???

Well the L models spanned '91 - '03 if my memory serves me right and the auction does say will fit any L model, which yours is, so my guess is yes (but its a guess)

Mate, dont worry about it.. all you need is a M-Max Box - you can pick them up for about £15 and they just plug and play into your CDI.. cuts out the 112mph (120kph) Jap restriction on your bike, and gives you full power.

I had one on my NC29, real easy to install and did what it said on the box.

I got mine from Ebay - look around, you should be alright.

Check out 400 Grey Bike

Theres loads of tips on there mate. Thumbs Up
