De-restrict a NSR -91?

Can u de-restrict a NSR 125 -91 in anyway?

If its restricted, then you must beable to derestrict it, But I dont have a clue how to. Since its a pretty old bike ( im gessing the 91 stand for 1991... yea? ) it may just be a plate inbetween the carb and the engine.

if it hasn't been tampered with at all, it has restrictors in the exhaust which are in the header, and welded in, I got mine removed but it's tricky and you need someone capable of doing the job properly. Also other sorta restriction is in the engine, but you can only de-restrict this bit by replacing it with a power vavle, which is tricky, coz it will need some rewiring done.

If it is a UK spec NSR125 then it will be restricted with a plate between the carb and the reed valves and also a restrictor "washer" in the front of the exhaust. No restriction in the power valve or cdi.

If it is an imported one then it is highly unlikely to be restricted unless someone has done it once it arrived in the UK. And how they did it is anyones guess.

If it is the older NS125 then it will be restricted in the exhaust and also by missing the actuation system for the ATAC valve, so the ATAC chamber is open all the time.
