Help!! Drugs test...

Hi - I've got a problem I hope some of you may be able to offer advice on...

I've got a drugs test next thursday for an apprenticeship job.. and i'm really stressing myself out worrying that it'll test positive. I was a fairly regular user of cannabis, but stopped just over a month ago.. maybe 5 weeks by the time of the test..

Anybody know how long it stays in your system for? I hear it's stored in fat cells (of which i have quite a few Wink

) And is there anybody who can offer any tips to get rid of it who has had it done before?

If its a piss test get a mate who does,nt smoke to piss in a little bottle for you and keep it down your trousers on the day of the test so you can fill the test cup up with it. Laughing

If you've been free for 5 weeks you should be ok and if there is a small amount registered most places will ignore it due to the passive amount you may take in.

I think it stays in your blood for a few days max, but urine for much longer and hair for much longer than that Shocked

I had a drugs test for my job, had smoked a few joints about four weeks before, they took a sample of my hair and sent it off, results came back clean so I wouldn't worry about it.

and if you take a piss test if they watch , if they do that means you have to stick a bottle of a mates piss up your arse and use a tube stuck to the underside of your weenie and pretend to piss ,

they're doing both apparently. Ive read the blood test detects for up to 4 weeks, so that one should be ok..

Its the urine test im scared of!

Go onto google and research it yourself. There are detox kits out there which will flush your system.

I think pot can stay in your system for up to eight weeks depending on how heavy a user you are. Also there are certain things you can take which will mask the drug in your system so if you are rumbled you can say, look here, I've been eating these and they are known to tamper with drug test results (even though that could implie guilt)!

Drink plenty of water this week to flush your system and if you can be arsed get out exercising as the increase in metabolism will increase the speed you system cleans itself.

It really depends on how paranoid/fucked you are as to how far your willing to go!

i have extensively researched it myself..

from my research I have gathered that all the detox kits are useless, and that thc is not soluble in water - so all that will do is dilute the results (making them suspicious).. helpful post though - I will look at some of these "false positives" as theyre known..

EDIT: do NOT take any ibuprofen a few days before as this is commanly known to give false positive readings and you don't want to be taking anything that can magnify you sample above 50 ng/ml (ng = nanogram = 1/1000000000th of a gram)

depends on the piss test whether or not you could get away with not providing your own urine.

The military compulsary drugs test involves someone watching you pee and then taking a temperature reading from the cup, so you cant have any cold pee anwhere else on your body as it would show up.

They are really strict and even if you have watery pee, they will PH test it there and then to make sure they can test it.

Dont know if civvies can be that strict...

If a company wanted to do a blood test on me before employing me, they could go and stick their job up their arse.

Luckily this would never happen in my profession because I legitimately handle a various drugs on a daily basis. As such, I would probably register a trace reading for a great many substances.
