ALSO loyalty arose due to the number of people apparently "mates" with dodsi no BCF who have, in mine and other's eyes, been well out of order.

some people could have been seen as being out of order but i dont think sickpup has so dont get at him about it.

Fazerkev wrote:

Edd- Tom IS a very good rider. I wouldn't argue with that fact beacuase you'll see that EX3D said he's his best friend and actually they ride together loads and have know each other for ages. You are probably bitter due to the said incident.

Im not bitter, I also think from the time i spent riding with Tom that he is a good rider. what i am saying is it is irrelevant how good a rider he is, we all make mistakes, god knows ive had my share.

Fazerkev wrote:

I'll try to expin EX3D's points:
1.Toms mileage is SIGNIFICANTLY MORE than the majority of bikers and shows although he's young than many, he has expereince. He rides all year round and knows how to ride and maintain his bike. He's not a joker.

Again I havent said that he doesnt have experience, but again i think that it is irrelevant. It doesnt alter anything.

2. The relavtively few posts you've scored suggests that you haven't been very active on here. That doesn'y mean you haven't tried to contact dodsi but it does mean you are trying to score cheap insulting blows to dodsi by making this thread (I agree whole-heartedly with Phanny abou pm's...

I dont post all too often on here, mostly due to the fact that I spend more time working on my bikes than using the computer. Im rebuilding a gpz 750 completely (which i am going to post in show and tell when its together) and also repairing my zephyr which had 3 bent valves. These take up the majority of my spare time. When i do post its usually in the workshop section. Im not trying to make cheap insulting blows I was tryign to get my money, i told dodsi i would post this thread and i dont regret that i did.

no i think thats entriely what you are missing, I dont take the internet as seriously as real life, i would suggest that anyone who does take the intrernet as seriously as real life should pause to reflect on their situation.

Fazerkev wrote:

I find it VERY hard to believe he didn't reply to you if you tried that hard to contact him.

I didnt say he didnt reply, read the thread, i said he claimed not to have the money. A good while ago we agreed privately of a date that dodsi would pay me by so that he had chance to get the money together. within that space of time I looked on dodsi's ebay account to see that he bought a bandit. I said at the time (on msn) that if he didnt pay me I would post the matter on bcf. Dodsi replied that he wasnt bothered. (before you dispute this i have chat logs going way back to prove)

phantomtek wrote:

Thats the thing, I would try hard to get the money as quickly as possible without having to be asked. I have broken/lost other peoples things in the past and have always replaced them or given them the money and apologised profusely.

Its worth noting Tom that personally although I was pissed off with you I think you have handled the situation in a very adult fashion, and we no longer have a problem as you have paid me. I expect that i will see you at lots of events over the summer and I will say hello, and hope that you will do the same.

I think it was pretty dumb to start a thread up about this.

You make him look like a cunt to everyone, why dont he just act a cunt and not give you the money? Hell going round there and breaking his windows is less childish than this.

Dodsi will decide for him self who his "mates" are, no need to keep posting about loyalty and stuff - let Dodsi choose his own friends Rolling Eyes

At the end of day the only two facts that really matter are....
1) Dodsi crashed bike
2) Dodsi paid for bike and more than likely said sorry.

So can we burry this thread now?

I really dont see your point, you are clearly a moron, breaking his windows would have cost him a lot, achieved nothing and got me no money and a criminal record. Read my posts and you will see that I posted this after telling dodsi that i would if he didnt pay me. Posting this thread was a means to an end, that end has been met. Im willing to bury it.

As to insulting people, where?

No I think you should explain why it took so long to pay, why Edd was expected to chase you etc.

I wonder if Korn uses this Karma thing so people can learn what it is and maybe apply it to real life?

I seem to be one of the few here who seem to notice that IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. It wasn't Tom's fault but the women who pulled out. This incident was NOT a direct result of tom dicking around with a mate's bike. Try to remember this guys when you next post.....please.

Second, Edd... did Tom really pull away bouncing off the rev limiter?? I think not. Others have let Tom ride their bike... lots of people in fact including Rick with his Blackbird. They trust him and know that if he broke it though his own fault he would pay up. But this wasn't his fault Edd was it.... you seem to have missed saying that in your original post for some reason - can't imagine why you would do that Rolling Eyes

Anyone yet to ask also how was Tom after the crash? Tom did get hurt - he badly bruised his knee and bust up his leathers... but you seem to have omitted that part out from your 'story' above.

Lastly... colin1. no more posts please. It's obvious that you are still sore about the 98R1 jokes. Who wouldn't be, but that was a joke this isn't. To continue posting counter arguments for a real incident in which you were not involved or a witness to is just not fair.

It was an accident resulting from a stupid women cager doing a smidsy and Tom could have been killed.

I wasnt going to do this but here is some short facts...

I wasnt redlining the bike, I came out of a corner (not all that fast as it was wet) and a woman in a silver astra pulled out of a junction without even looking and I lowsided in the wet trying to avoid her, she then pulled back in and drove off before I could get any details off her or get a reg plate. a neighbour did come out and say how it was not my fault and the woman was looking into a house when she pulled out and not at the road. I was hurt and in shock and had also to replace some clothing (jacket £100 and trousers £150)

However I instantly said I would pay, and I ment it but didnt have the money there and then. Edd did ask me for it whilst I didnt have it and I said I would get it and pay him, I got the money and left it in my second account but couldnt contact edd and was waiting for a paypal address to send it too.

At the moment I am fully skinted and couldnt afford to give him it if I didnt have the money aside allready having bought a set of tyres and a rear tyre recently (nearly £300) and a weekend with the southern fairies Wink in brighton which cost a pretty penny and have paid for a minor service on my bike also when I got back and I am an unemployed student at the moment who has just paid my tuiton fee's.

But in edds defence NEVER ONCE did he threaten me or my property and has been (apart from this thread) very adult and civil about the whole thing, If he PM'd me without the thread he would have got the same results.

Like I said, I wasnt going too do this but its there if you can be bothered reading it.

irrelevant. You crash it you pay for it

Also did he bother to get the womans details or attempt to make a claim?

No witnesses to the accident. He doesn't appear to have bothered to get the womans details, maybe there was no woman, maybe it was his fault, all irrelevant. He crashed it he pays for it.

No one forced him to borrow the bike. No one stopped him getting the reg details of the car, no one stopped him claiming for his badly bruised knee and his leathers. The choice to sue was his own which he decided not to take but its irrelevant to this post as its about him paying for the bike.

And where exactly were you involved in this incident being neither a witness to him borrowing the bike or the driver of the car?

irrelevant. you crash it you pay for it.

No one has denied the accident happened. The problem is the amount of time to make good the damage.

I just feel this post has become insulting enough now. Let it die everyone. It's not going to resolve anything this way anyway. If Edd wants to meet us lot and sort something out then may I suggest he comes over to Squires on Wednesday evening. Most of us will be down there then.
