I am a bit thick

I sent off a birthday card with money in
but forgot to put the stamp on it Rolling Eyes

What will happen to it ?
Will it just be placed somewhere, or will they deliver it anyway ?

I blame it on my age

Ta

AFAIK they post it anyway but charge the person you send it to for the postage.

They will ask the person at the other end to pay the postage, plus a charge. I think the charge is around £1 but not sure cos I've not had one for a while!

If no-one is in they will leave a card and take it back to the deopt for you to collect later.

if you don't pay or collect I don't know. Maybe Wave can tell us?

Always put a return address on anything you send even if its
12 fake street
RH12

Also, if they notice there is no stamp, it will be charged for postage and a £1 handling fee for the person recieving.

Is,nt it a criminal offence to send cash in the post as it encourages robbery of the post?
