CBR600RR luggage options

I commute daily with a laptop and a change of clothes using a courier bag for the laptop and a tank bag for the rest. It's fine for daily use, but on the odd overnight stop it'd be helpful having a tad more room.

My next bike will be a CBR600RR or CBR600F. I know that there are lots of luggage options available for the F, but the RR is still the bike that tempts me more.

I've seen some soft luggage available from Givi for the RR, something that is attached by fixing under the seat, that gives you two small side panniers. Or similarly a small tail pack. Are these the only options? I understand the RR tank isn't metal so I won't be able to use a magnetic tank bag.

How weather-resistant is the soft luggage?

What about a rucksack, you can get some really good ones. do a search on google for the Berghaus Freeflow, they get fairly large and stay surprisingly aerodynamic.

Get your paws on a 2006 demon tweeks catalogue mate, they don't cost a penny you just need to ring up and they'll send it to you. I got mine in about 3 days last summer and i'm pretty sure they had luggage for the RR

Just lob soft panniers and a tailpack on either of them.

magnetic tank pads are a no-no on the rr because of the plastic tank cover

Get yourself a decent back pack and panniers.

think i picked mine up from the BMF, only cost 20 and you can fit loads in there, also had a bit where your helmet goes
