As title says managed to have a few laps and a go of the above bikes, Suzuki Rm 250cc
and a Kawasaki KX250cc both close frinds have brought them so took them out.

Never shit myself so much, top bikes, but 1st 2nd 3rd gears are leathally quick and roll on wheelies from the throttle. Never had so much fun wheeling over a dirt track. Should hopefully be buying a 250cc soon, I think a 125 (2 stroke) would be fun but the 250cc definetly put the shits up me.
Top laugh through, spent about 3 hours riding round, and all muscles kill.

Can't wait to hav another blast tomorrow...

I'm hoping to get a KTM 250 EXC or similar (Gas Gas EC is about the same).

These have almost as much power as a mx bike but not as bad service intervals, a bit more user friendly engine and similar weight.

The 300EXC or similar should have more low down torque in the same chassis.

That was the Blonde guy's dad, his only ever road a bike once before.

Then we stick him on a RM250, we throught he was going to come off, hence I was on the camera straight away waiting for the flip,

And this time today in the rain. (As the bikes had no grip what so ever... we had a go on these...)

Id throughly recommend a ktm 250 exc.

I flipped one through a wire fence and into a tree at about 40 ish and it was completely fine.

It had a bigger rear sprocket and after id got the cbr i had another blast (3 years on from my flipping and it still worked fine).

Fuck me can it wheely. First to seconds are piss easy, and as you say, power wheelies in third.

Certainly put the wind up me on a few occasions.

I loathe riding off road properly (least not on someone elses bike) as to easy to cock up and balls up bits of the bike.

But on the black top it was fantastic. If i got one id be on one wheel EVERYWHERE.

Beautiful bikes.
