MPH = Miles Per Hour, So if you do 200mph for an hour, you would have done 200 miles in 1 hour.

It should say either mph or kph on the speedo. Have you looked ?

1 kmph = 1 kilometer per hour = 1000 meters per hour
So if your where travelling at a constant speed of 30kmph you whould cover 30000m in 1 hour.

1 mph = 1 mile per hour = 1609 meters per hour
So if your where travelling at a constant speed of 30mph you whould cover 48280m in 1 hour.

30 mph is faster than 30 kmph.

30mph is the same as 48.280 kmph

If you speedo is in kmph, stay just below 50 in 30mph zones and you'll be fine
