Laughing

He did nearly kill a Japanese Akita when it started on his bird (The other dog) and he is mean as fudge if a dog ticks him off or attacks a human, but there couldn't be a more cuddly dog in the world than him, he knows all the commands, even 'Paw' and will just sit with you.

He's ace. Laughing

Just a bit.. they have even stolen my place on the sofa. Staff's are brilliant dogs, they're also part of my Stop the chavs taking my bike away campaign. The worse part is, the parents are thinking of a fourth, i think i'll pack my bags now.

We have to keep our two lab/springers in the garage too, Winston who’s 7 months old just charges ever where knocks every thing over so can be no longer trusted in the house, he feels no pain Confused I bet they would be useless if some one tried to nick my bike, they would just lick the thief. Only dog that lives in the house is Murphy the terrier because its "to cold out side" for him and he gets bullied by the puppy.

Why have a dog if its too stay in the garage Confused
I wouldn't dream of locking mine out there, imagine being shut in there yourself...
If your not prepared to accept its behavour or train it then get rid.

I didn’t mean its kept in there 24/7, only at night, plus they have beds and a heat lamp in there and half the garage is sectioned off for them. Normally in the garden during the day and some times in the house. Yeah we are training him, just young and hyperactive at the moment Confused

My dogs are outside dogs, they don't like being in the house, they wouldnt enjoy a bath everynight before they were allowed in because they've been playing in a water trough or a cow pat or rolled in something a fox left behind.

If I bring my dogs inside, which I sometimes do, they are too hot and don't relax.

They arn't locked in a pen they have free roam and can go anywhere they want, field, yard, or just sit in their bed.
We've always had dogs as functional items, gundogs, guard dogs and watch dogs, no however they are more like pets as we go for walks down the park because dad doesn't go shooting anymore.

Living outside gives the dogs a better coat too and makes them more hardy.

my dogs are hardcore they go swimming in frozen ponds Shocked.

My dogs are very well trained, Ben knows the difference between left and right paw, megan can standup on her back legs if only briefly, Meg and Ben are trained gun dogs Roxie has an 'attack that chav mode too'

most recently I've been teaching them to climb trees and fences, tallest tree conquered so far is 5ft 7"
