Just saw an advert to say that Big Brother is back in 10 days time, my blood boiled and I felt like screaming....

Last summer I was working shifts 2pm - 10pm so i'd get home and just crash out infront of the tv. Big Brother just happened to be on and I was hooked, but I agree its a load of shite!

They had a good thing going first and second time. And although it's slightly getting "that time of eyar already??" it still seems to bring in the audience. God knows why.

Like anything successful, they have to milk it and I think once a eyar is too much. Once every 2 years would be okay. I don't even watch the telly and I still hear about it!!

As sad as this is ... it's only good when they start fighting!

I agree it's getting really old now, and if this one turns out to be boring they should just call it a day. I think Davina is great though, and I only really watch the evictions now to see what she has to say to the housemates.

For me it seems to have become a horrible reminder of how quickly the years go. I feel like there's only a five minute gap between me saying "It's on again? Has it been a year already?!"

I'm normally of the opinion that with things in the media that you don't like, you can simply modify your viewing/listening/reading habits to avoid them.

But that puts it on my agenda. Why should I have to alter how I take in news and events to avoid a programme conceived to entertain Heat readers, to expanded the ever growing C and D list celebrity population (who didn't even exist until this kind of programme appeared). It means I have to be aware of it, which means I, at some point in my routine, have been forced to bare witness to it, something I could happily live my whole live without.

Obviously, I am just another opinion, which is on the most part completely useless.

But hang on, by discussing it, am I not just bolstering its popularity and increasing its presence in my life....please excuse me, I am going to reverse the car over my own head.

The first big brother was good, a bunch of people in there for fun, now they're all in there for the money and fame and look at the quality of contestants, at first it was normal people but now it's a bunch of social outcasts.

personally i have no idea where they find the cnuts.

They seem to do a bloody fine job though of finding the most annoying, uncharismatic and pathetic pieces of shit known to man and then make a tv show that revolves about them titting about like a bunch of right Jamie's.

I and every other man I know (1 or 2) gets violent at the prospect of BB. Many a time have I been in company when it arises in conversation and one of us will go on about how, if we were in the big brother house, would badly maim the poncey gits in there. I particularly had some good torture methonds for that scottish ham lover jason from whichever 'season' he was in.

And fair do's we don't have to watch it. But if Channel 4 put people bumming cats, bumming rats on prime time would you just turn over and say "ooh, its just not for me", NO!! you'd be like whats this shit and create uproar!

(probably by coming on BCF and having a damn good Great British whinge, and for that sir I would salute you!)
