Hi i'm off to Spain next week, now I do have some medical cover for the family.

However reading the cover in detail it only covers me for riding motorcycles less than 50cc. Can anyone recommend an insurer that will cover motorcycle use.

On another point I went the 33bhp route and have about 11 months to go till full power, what is the deal in Spain with such a license? Am I best just hiring a 250?

Anyhelp appreciated.

they are in the EU, we are in the EU

you used to be able to get a form from the post office (E1-11 maybe) that would mean you wouldnt get charged for medical care

There's an alternative to the E111 called the EHIC (Euro Health Insurance Card).

Apply for an EHIC online and it will be delivered within a week.

EHIC isn't an E111 alternative, it's a replacement that came into force in January.

If you do want extra travel insurance that covers you on larger bikes, the Post Office and Carol Nashes policies don't have extra policy loadings.

Oh with the licence, you should be fine to hire any bike I expect. Doubt they've heard of 33bhp.
