I don't usually wash biking gear , some febreeze amply used on the textiles does the job nicely , thing is I have a pair of leather jeans which kind of reek , Febreeze and such products say don't friggin use this stuff on leather.
So how do I get the stink out of leather? , use a mild washing powder and hand wash it regularly?
Want to wear me leather jeans , but don't and stick with denim jeans presently cus of the stink.
any suggestions
Thanks. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |

The only way I know is to take them to a specialist dry cleaners - unfortunatly not all of them do leather either ____________________ I spend all my money on bikes and beer, the rest I simply waste! |

If you can turn them inside out go over the lining with damp cloth and soapy water then let dry.
Its often the lining that starts to smell a bit.
The outside best to avoid soap but damp cloth is OK, then maybe use some sort of leather food which will cover any smell with a difererent one for a while
I'd not use dry cleaners really because they could really mess them up. |
