Presume it's not road regged?
Is it legitimate; not stolen (or at least officialy stolen then recovered), got history, etc?

Also presume it isn't actually tuned, despite you saying 'kicks some real harsh power out'?

No its not stolen to my knowledge, I bought it from a guy in bristol about 3months ago, but dont actually have anywhere worthwhile to take it, plus new bike just cost me a fortune in repairs/maintenance so seems a good reason to get some cash back seeing as i never use it, no its not been tuned, i rebuilt the engine myself as i originally bought as a non runner to give myself something to do, has a DT1 filter and thats the only thing you could remotely call tuning/aftermarket, its not road regged as its one of the few 1990 bikes that they made specifically for off road use so has no v5 either and has no frame number on headset, thats reason i was given by prev owner and checks out, they did make off road bikes in 1990, various parts stamped '90 and i cant find any frame numbers, no angle grinder marks on the frame so i assume that to be authentic, if it was hot i wouldnt have bought it as my dads a copper in leeds and i dont really fancy getting done for stolen property anyway, any pics you want just let me know and ill get them done.

Cheers, James

bit pricey for something you know nothing of the history about.

I'll give you £150 tops for it.

failing that I'll stick with the road legal motable example I've found for just over your asking price.

I'd say it probably is worth around £300, just wack it on ebay or local paper, those bikes are in quite high demand... especially the engines.

I don't know what people expect for 300 notes. Stick it on ebay, you'll easily pull that for it.

people pay more than that for a mountain bike
im gonna make some enquiries about van hire

i know i can hire one for £50 but Im not sure if thats just for local use and dunno if they will slap a surcharge on for big mileage or something

i need to hire a van to shift some stuff anyway so it will be hitting two birds with one stone

ive not had one b4, in the pic background there is a very steep hill, could it get up that or just down it ?

the spare tank looks bigger but its probably cos the sides arent pushed in, its an origninal DR tank not aftermarket, no nothing wrong with current tank on there its just got duffed up sides and there no petrol cap for it just one of them crap quick fix bungs you get from the petty station, this one came with keys so thought itd kill 2 birds with one stone, ie, not shitty looking tank and has locxkable petrol cover so petrol doesnt piss out when you fall over and run down the side of the roasting exhaust, terrifies me when it does that
