Hi,
I'm from East Grinstead, which is below London, and went to Brighton at the weekend.
If you go from London and head towards Crawley (I think it's signposted crawley, I can't remember) and take the A22 (I think) to East Grinstead, then go from East Grinstead to Brighton, the roads are very nice |

Last summer I decided to ride down to Boxhill from London and then from Boxhill follow the route Korn posted; one of the 'Old Skool BCF Rideouts' down to Arundel and then into Brighton.
So basically it is like this;
Get on the A24 south and follow that out of London, you will go passed boxhill aswell.
Continue on the A24 south until you meet the A29.
Take the A29 south all the way until just before Arundel.
Pop onto the A284 and follow that into Arundel.
Then get on the A27 and head east, which will take you the rest of the way to Brighton.
It was last summer that I went though so can't remember exactly how good it was, but I do think it was quite nice! Toby's route could be a nice one too...but I have never done it so can't say!
It is up to you! |
