I was pottering about in the car last week driving to pick mother dearest up from work, I am crossing some traffic lights and maintaining a steady 30mph down a road just a nice size for 2 cars to pass simaltaniously providing there are no cars parked either side. I am approaching a side street on the left and becasue it was dark I could see lights from a vehicle approaching up that very same side street, I didnt brake just slightly eased off the gas.

It was an Aprillia RS 05 Model exactly the same as my race rep one, I had my lights on etc etc and was clearly visible to anyone around. Do you think this guy saw me?

He pulls right out infront of me, panics and slams his breaks on stopping bang in the centre of my lane, (If he had nailed it he may not have posed a problem and got out of the way) I slam mine on and skid up to him on an angle, to top it off he lifts his lid up and shouts "You F**king idiot watch where your going" Confused I would usually have lost it with someone like that, not for pulling out on me but the response after the event, I was so shocked at his comments I was lost for words, gobsmacked even.

Anyway, I pick my mom up and I am driving home, and see the very same bike and I am trailing it up the road towards mine, the biker pulls in to a drive just round the corner from me.
Over the next few days I see the very same bike parked on that very same drive. It belongs to to an 19 year old asian who's family have lived there all their life, I do not know him personally but know of the family who live their and have seen the rider out and about the local area and I am guessing he has been riding a matter of a couple of weeks maximum.

Anyway, Im riding my bike back from work on Tuesday evening (Wow what a lovely hot night it was) I turn left off an island onto a 30mph long straight road, I am doing around 35mph and up the inside of me (My left hand side, bearing in mind its a single lane road) comes this pocket rocket of an Aprilia RS 125 doing easy on 60mph with that very same dude as previously stated wearing nowt but his Lid, shorts and t-shirt.

Its an absolute disgrace, this kid is a nutter, a danger to people around him and a danger to himself, he should be banned.

Rant over.

Ride safe folks! Thumbs Up

There are unfortunatley - like any other kind of motorist , 2 kinds of bikers .

Those you find who are serious about there biking and take precautions and are generally the best lot of people you can hope to meet on the road .

Then there are those who have no respect for they're machine , the road or themselves .

Guess which category he falls into

Steve.

Jot all of that down, in detail, print it out and send it to his mum.

Annonymous of course.

Send pictures of what happens in road rash accidents. Might make her think twice about letting him out on his bike. Laughing Thumbs Up

Wouldn't surprise me if the kid got startled by your lights and paniced, lights at night can be a bit dazzling for new riders. Still, that doesn't excuse him riding like a twat, the guy sounds like an idiot.
