Thundercat 600 Dials

Hi,

Ive just bought a 96 N Thundercat 600 off my girlfriends dad. Since he had it, the dials never lit up when lights were on. Its been a niggling problem but never got round to sorting it.

What is this likely to be? and how would I go about fixing it? I also might change the dials for white ones I have found on ebay. would this be an easy job?

Probably a broken wire, you will (well should find...) that it branches off from the sidelights.

This has happened to the lower part of the speedo dial on mine. I would get under there and replace the bulb, but I here it is an utter biatch to get in there and do it, so I'm going to leave it.

If you've got no lights at all on there, I'd suspect a dodgy wire rather than the bulbs.

Yeh thats what I suspected.
Yeh heard its a right pain getting in there to have a look, and I have no idea on how I would change the dials to white, without breaking something lol.

Rookie, dont spose you know where I could get a double bubble tinted screen for the cat?

Not aware of a an official source, but there are always a few on eBay. Smile

Just search
