NSR125 RK, new engine fitted, but after 30 miles bike cut!!!

Bike cut out, and was covered in antifreeze, cap under seat off, sure it was on before, and their is a rubber hose that starts from just above-behind where the front sprocket is, but its not connected at the other end, im hoping its just that, but no idea where it goes, any ideas guys, a pic would help

That will be the breather hose.

If the bike ran out of coolant and cut out, expect some damage. I would refill and start the bike, keep an eye on the temp gauge. The headgasket might be dead, warped head or possibly the piston nipped up in the bore.

think the coolent might have been over filled as its still above the higher level now, their are 3 other hoses that i dont know if their ment to be connected, one is on the bottom of the carb, and the other 2 are one to each side, exactly opersite each other,

and point up with about 6" of small hose about 5mm diamiter,

the one on the bottom points down and is about 12" long

i can get pics if their needed possibly

any ideas?

Ah sorry, you mean the expansion tank rather than the radiator filler cap under the fuel tank, my bad.

On the carb you have the oil line and the fuel line, the rest are overflows and don't connect to anything.

right that would appear that just the cap under seat blew off then, so if their any reason why it wont start, i did notice the transmission oil is low, it was fine yesterday, but then yesterday was the first time i had run the bike with the replacment engine my mate fitted.

it sounds like its tryin to fire though,

i have checked the plug all looks ok,

it was very smoky when it cut out but i think that was the antifreeze sprayin over the engine ect...

any ideas on what i can try next?

just topped up transmission oil, still wont start, their is like a gargling/bubbling noise coming from the antifreeze/cooler bottle, is that normal,cant seem to find anything obvious wrong, just wont start

any more ideas guys?

Its probably worth checking all the obvious stuff like battery charge cos this could expain the starting problems but not the cutting out...
