Hey folks, I currently ride an RS 125.

I bought it last summer and had finance on it, the origional plan was to part ex it for another brand spanking new CBR 6RR this summer or somthing similar.

I have been speaking to me mate at work and he has a Suzuki RF600 on a K reg. He has had a few bumps on it but has got them all fixed now and had it re-sprayed black with blue flakes in it.

I have not seen the actual bike yet but for £400 would it be worth buying this to learn the ropes (At least finacially ift wont matter if i gob it then!!) on for the 1st year and keep my RS and turn in into a track weapon??

Whats your thoughts?

sounds good to me
as long as there is nothing mechanically wrong with it, and even if there is, at that price you could probably afford to get it fixed

For £400 it's an absolute steal, provided it's reasonably sound. It's a fast and capable bike, not everybody liked the design but nothing wrong with the way it goes!

Er ! Bargain ,these bikes are so underated.

It can tour, commute, running costs, parts etc are very cheap, insurance is low.

I have a couple of these, Yes they are outdated and ugly (just like me Very Happy ) .

I have even taken one on a track-day and had no problems running around at a fair old pace (it will do around 130+mph).

Post up pics when you get her Cool
