some new/ tarty bits for my DT? e.g. bars, better exhaust etc?

I've looked in catalogues like Demon Tweaks but that's aimed at sports bikes and the like as we all know. Yamaha only do standard parts as well, nothing different or original.

Is there anything/ anyone out there that does accessories for my type of bike Question

Have you tried eBay?

They are usually great for all things bike, people breaking bikes etc. you are sure to find something you'll want, especially if it's a pipe or system and you don't want to pay through the bum for it.

Thumbs Up

Only add ons I would recommend for a DT is some mud from the local field. Thumbs Up

If that doesn't take your fancy, I ALWAYS hear about dt125's have a "DEP" exhaust on. Only add on I've heard.

What sort of other bits are you after exactly? Off roaders aren't known for tarty bits like sports bike riders!! Laughing

As for your mentioning of bars, just buy some renthal bars with the colour of your choice (guessing blue?) They come in a variety of different styles i.e adjusting the reach to bars. Not quite sure what you would be after. Renthals are sold anywhere and everywhere.

And one more thing - Like bars, tarty bits are often generic items, being the same for a whole lot of different bikes. They just are sold for specific bikes because they KNOW they fit these models.

Indeed i dont want to pay through the bum for anything i buy (Laughing), but Ebay doesn't seem to have anything for my bike where it's so new? That's kinda why i was leaning towards dealers etc. I just want shiny things, not necessarily anything to improve performance because i love the way my bike works as it is. I know a different exhaust would help in some ways, but i'm in it for the looks Wink

What are these dep pipes?

Is this the bike that will be featuring in the next set of "photos"?? Very Happy

Dep pipe = race exhaust = improved performance

Quite expensive though, I looked into them when I had a DT. I think you should just use the money to go for your DAS.

DEP pipes are the most common pipes for the DT as far as I know, but overall I think instigator has summed it up the most adequately, bling is sometimes universal.

I'm not going to even attempt to pass my test until next year, so i figured i would blow my wages on something for my bike before i get bored of it.

DT125X (supermoto) so l would go with a loud "DEP" or "Arrow" "nikon" etc exhaust (up jetted to suit of course), good sticky tyres, maybe some wavy disks, braied brake lines.

Depends on how much you want to spend on a 125, just dont go over the top like aprilla18

I don't have loads to spend all at once - it would be a 'add bits month by month' kinda thing. I just want to personalise it and make it stand out Thumbs Up

Everything suggested so far though is great guys! Anything else just let me know!
