Did you ring up different insurance companies?

I can insure a GSF400 for £460 TPFT.

Give some a ring and see if you can get them any cheaper.

I'm 17, 0 NCB, etc...

Ring round and play the companies off eachother, make sure you tell them what the lowest quote you've got was. I took £560 off my quote doing this.

yes, ring up different companys, and make out somebody has quoted you £100 cheaper, they are sure to drop the price, as he said, play them against each other.

at the end of the day, there all looking for money, and they WANT your cash Wink

Thats interesting.. when I did tpft quotes for bikes - an rs125 was actually more than a zxr400 for me Shocked

The quotes themselves arent bad - you could do better though if you play em against each other..!
