Y reg Honda NSR125R
I'm at uni right now so i can't look what milage is on it but .. I think its around 17000 miles. Full engine rebuild at 16000 mile last summer and i've barely ridden since - I'm at uni now and don't ever get time to ride. It isn't (edited for method's sake Razz) starting at the moment because it's been stood and i'm pretty sure the spark plug is dead - but I'm gonna get the sparky replaced and the tires sorted so i can have a quick go before i sell it, so it will be in full workin order for anyone who wants it Smile
It's in pretty good nick - i've dropped it off the stand once or twice (while still on it one of the times - LOL) but apart from that it's pretty good condition.
Run on Castrol fully synthetic 2T oil since i got it - and the owner before me also ran it on fully synthetic.
Uh... de-restricted.... can't really think of much more to tell ya..
the front indicators have been replaced with smaller carbon fibre ones... thats bout all i can think of.. Anyway - heres a pic
£1450 ono (it's in sunny mablethorpe (east coast, lincolnshire) - garaged of course)

and how would you know what price is sensible round these parts? bikes tend to sell pretty high round here if you find the right person. Granted it may take longer than if i was selling it for £50 but hey - that's life. And you can sell yours for £20k ONO if you want - people will think you're an ass though Smile

how did you figure. it's in plain view and it flips out (while still being attached) quite easily for anyone who's gonna nitpick about it.

strictly speaking they are meant to be mounted on the front of the bike, and visible

but as far as im concerned they are safer at home. these days police check you are taxed by checking your reg on a computer

it may not be very practical but the law says they are supposed to be mounted in front of the rider

i have a tax disc holder on my scooter which is mounted on the front fork (the tax disc for that bike is at home tho)

thats where they are meant to be

you got the side right tho, its meant to be on the left hand side of the bike

I had my 2002 NSR for sale for 6months ar £1700

sold it for £1400 on ebay after it had stagnated on forums.

Also your tax disc needs to be on the front left of your bike infront of the riders leg, so unless you ride around with your left leg foot on the pillion peg, it is illegal.

not that I've even known any one get fined for it but theMOT place wouldn't MOT my NSR until I'd moved it Rolling Eyes

Seriously mate, jokes aside - youll be lucky to get 1200 for that Thumbs Up

Its in a non running state currently, it hasnt been ridden much over the last year, its a Y reg, and its been dropped a few times, plus your advert is a bit chavvish : " It ain't Startin' " Laughing

Put it up for 1250 ONO and you'll get a buyer. Where ever you are, 1700 is too much.

I got my 2002 NSR (this was in 2004 i bought it) for 1250. 6000 miles on the clock and taken extremely good care of. Put it on ebay, expect about 800-1000 for it mate Thumbs Up

lol - chavvish - if it was chavvish i'd be going "does like 100 innit!" and stuff "like dat"... I'm one of the furthest things from a chav you'd probably ever meet - if you met me that is Razz - but yeh - helpful input is good - means i can Edit it to further better the ad's effectiveness Very Happy

Anyway... if you read the thread i do say it WILL be running for anyone who buys it - think MOT runs out in july so i'll get it MOT'ed next month also.

If no-one wants it then i'll probably just keep it on for another year and ride it myself, Local bike place will gimme a grand for it anyway - in its current non-running state, lol... so there's a last resort for me Smile

Local bike place offered me£1500 for mine, I said okay, went home got the documents, came back and the offer had gone down to £800 Middle Finger

Evil or Very Mad

I'd get any offers from a dealer in writing and signed, then they won't be as inclined to bull shit you.

Naw they bought my last one off me (Motorhispania RX50) for £1200. They don't know jack shite about engines - but for any other kind of bike work they're pretty reliable, they wouldn't screw me around, always in there buying something or other. lol Smile

Bumped for DevilDexx to find Razz

Just to clarify the bike WILL be running and have the MOT renewed for anyone who wants it. I think it's got like 3 months left on the MOT anyway but i'll get ya 12. And 12 months tax - but thats only £15 so... lol Smile
