brag about this sort of thing but it made my evening as i had just ridden through some heavy rain... Evil or Very Mad

I haven't had the ninja for long, as most of you know i've been riding a VFR, it had a slight stutter due to some ghay reason (to be sorted) which meant that off the mark it wasn't anything to write home about.

I'm sat at the lights, it's stopped raining now, i hear a low rumble to the side of me, it appears to be a Toyota Supra (possibly twin turbo). I hadn't really attemped this before because i'd stuggled next to a scooby on the VFR sometimes as the power wasn't that smooth.
I got the clutch in position, lights went green and i pulled away pretty well, the Supra didnt leather it but when he saw i went infront he nailed it to catch up, i had let off throttle at this point to save the effort, we both cruised to the next lights.

This had me giggling in my lid now Laughing

, the Supra was behind me rolling slowly to get a better start, the lights seemed to be red for an age, there was no one around.
Lights hit amber and we both nailed it, the Supra was so small now it wiped the grin off my face and i was in shock.
Shocked

It made that thing seem like an Austin Montego Laughing

Them things are insanely quick. I bet he just used that first run to wind up the turbo's.

Failing that, it was an NA (225bhp standard, car weighs ~1600kg)

The ZX7R accelerates like a sports 600, should see off most cars from a standing start.

Great having a bike that will out accelerate 99% of four wheeled traffic. Thumbs Up
