hi, i think that mister rossi is giving everyone a headstart this year to make thing's more exciting. in the next few race's he is going to pull it together and start kicking ass. or has he lost it?? please share your opinion's.

i was really into the moto gp last year this year its just got really tame, the 125's are a bit crappy, but the 250's are ace, there the ones to watch

But BSB and WSB have been taking up my time aswell.

Rossi is struggling, nothing to do with a headstart, the bike is poor this year.

The Yamaha's are definitely struggling this year with chasis problems.

But i thought the races have been great, its good to see some new blood doing well and i thought Pedrosa was great to whatch in the last GP. Have you seen how far hes having to hang off? Shocked

What?

I'm not sure what races you've been watching but it certainly cant be the MotoGP!

It's been anything but tame, 4 races and 4 different winners. Plenty of racing going on with loads of overtaking practically every lap.

So far this year, BSB has been a bit dissapointing. Thumbs Up

I agree Barry, the motogp has been pretty damn good.

Really? i thought BSB has been pretty good too, Brands, Donnington and Oulton were entertaining, with only Thruxton being a bit prosessional.

Who wants to take bets how many times Hayden will bin it this year? Razz

Zero?!?! He binned it three time in one race at Donnington! Razz

If they sort the chattering problems out he will, but i think both Rossi and Edwards will continue to struggle if Yamaha don't pull their fingers out, even in Europe

I think it's been bloody great so far! Haven't seen many of the previous years but I'm hooked now. I believe there is another one this weekend as well - Le Mans?
Pedrosa is interesting to watch. Any ideas why he lifts his inside foot off the peg turning into a corner!? looks well out of shape sometimes.

I'm not entirely sure, Rossi does it too, and when they do it means they're pushing very hard.

The commentators mention that its a stress indicator, but i think they just do it when they are right on the limit.

Thought I'd seen Rossi do it a bit but Pedrosa looks like he's about to go speedway style around the corner.
I thought maybe because he weighs so little it helps to shift his weight over to turn the bike in?

I think it's great for the championship. It's giving us a taster of what the season may be like if he does leave - which has opened up such a great championship that it seems to be anyone's game at the moment. The racing so far this year has been great, so unpredictable. Also, if they do sort the Yamaha problems, it's going to be good watching Rossi storm through the championship if push comes to shove at the half way point. Surprised but rather glad that Edwards got on the podium at the last race, as well as qualifying on the front row.

I'm still not convinced, maybe when they change the engines down to 800's it may be a bit more interessting, however it may get better during the season.

Pedrosa's gonna be good this season so is Stoner.

He's really giving everyone a head start??

Yeah, because you can plan chunks of rubber falling away from a front tyre during a GP... Rolling Eyes

And you'd really want to push a bike that hard that has that much chatter. You know, just to make life interesting for yourself and your team mate.

Yamaha have dropped the ball in the early part of this year. But there's a long way to go yet.

I agree with you there Craig, If you Yamaha do sort the problem out by mid season it could get pretty nail biting as the season draws to a close.

What I admire about Rossi is his ability to still perform quite well when the bikes not how he would like, when other riders with sorted bikes still finish down the grid.

Exaclty, Edwards said he couldn't lap any faster than 2m00s6, if he pushed any harder the chatter problems caused him to go slower.

Rossi, however was lapping half a second quicker, running 2m00s1 laps quite consistently!

I've just read Edwards admits Yamaha have a new frame, but he won't be running it at LeMans this weekend, but Rossi could be.
