Was out riding today with me dad trying to get some more practice in before me test

We were rifing up the country lanes just passed my house when all of a sudden heard a loud bang. Though my exhaust had back fired or something so carried on riding next thing i hear a bang again and a loud crunching noice

Some fukin chavs had shot at us with an air rifle. Hit my visor and cracked it all the way across.

So we stopped the bikes and went looking in woods all we saw was five kids couldnt be any older then 15 (should have been at school) with caps and tracksuits on running away.

Turns out they have done it to my next door neighbour too. But he manged to catch one and gave him a right bollocking

i just cant undersatnd why they do it. It could kill some one if it made them fall off. Its small country lane that cars do about 60mph down and they couldnt stop quick enough if a rider fell off in front of them surley.

Plus got to buy a visor now

If it's any consolation mate, I live in the chav capital of England and I don't feel safe going outside unless I've got three stripes on my clothing somewhere. They're always hanging around the local newsagents trying to look intimidating. I'm too scared to make eye contact for fear of them stabbing me! But that'll all change once I get my bike - tinted visors can be useful in more ways than one...

In scotland we've got chavs and neds. Double trouble! What you should do is get an Air rifle. Then use some brave buddy with bike as bait. If or when he gets shot at, you should start firing into the wood. Or you should try and catch the kids; castration can work wonders on playfull/aggresive cats! Should work on chavs? Or you should keep informing the police... yeah better.

I had some spawns of chavs chucking apples on my CBT (there was a small wood next to the carpark we practiced in) which I thought was bad enough.

My instructor had his shiny Arai flip-up lid kicked across the car park by some chav bint as well, there. Apparently, the police caught up with her, gave her a verbal warning, and that was it! Nice way to put someone a few hundred quid out of pocket .

Either way, the point is: if they're under-age, they'll get a bollocking and the rifle taken away at worst (big deal, it's probably nicked anway). The best you can hope for is to take a few mates, bait them out and then round them up. Don't use violence: all it takes is for them to feel scared and no longer in control of the situation to make them realise the error of their ways, IME.

They have just given you the ideal excuse to get medievel on their arse. They just shot at you with a firearm (if carried in public, an air rifle is treated in law in the same way as a proper rifle).

You would probably walk away from court a free man for anything up to, and possibly including, killing one of them "in self defence".

In my book, a good hiding is in order and fully justified. You're not allowed to touch them for destruction of your property but if you are being physically attacked, you have every right to defend yourself.
