Nice, we went past that in the dark, it's very weird seeing lights up on that hill when everything else around you is totally flat.

Wondered what it would look like in daylight, cheers for posting the pic

Reason I'm asking is that I think I've been on the "mount" thing...

It's like a touristy place with loads of gift shops innit?

yes, Normandy coast.

it's call the "Le Mont St Michel"

not St Michaels Mount as so many English people seem to call it Wink

It's become touristy, yes, but it was originally, and still is, a monastery.
