Hi guys,

I'm after a dual head graphics card to run two monitors.

It needs to be PCI (not AGP or PCI-E).
Bot outputs need to be 15pin D-Sub VGA (the blue ones).

256Mb RAM would be ideal, but could scrape 128 if needs be.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

coming across a half decent pci card at a good price is gonna be hard.

looking for one with 256mb of ram is gonna be worse.

do you not have agp or pci-e ?

It's a dell and a corporate PC, so it was bought on the cheap ( work want them for a few PC's).

There are only 3 PCI slots. If 256 cant be found, then it'll need to be 128. Not my computer so I dont really give a toss. They are only developers using Visual Basic, so not like it's playing a intensive game...

Can you not run the onboard and a single head pci at the same time?

Nope... It's a Dell. If the PC detects another graphics card, it'll disable the on board graphics. Helpful huh?

Great, I've never tried it but will a pc run 2 pci's?

I wouldnt worry if one of the connectors is analogue dvi (yes i know its a contradiction) you can get dvi - vga adaptors.
