Well, thinking bout buying one soon, before the test.

I know there is plenty of types of these, but which ones best??

I'm looking for acceleration not top end speed.

Or if there's any types of known problems with these bikes.

Any comments would be gratefull!!!

Not too sure but i think the CBR600 F is the cheapest to insure - but don't quote me on that

Engines are similar from the F, FSport and RR - the RR being the peakiest.

The RR is more track focused and the F is the softest with the FSport in between.

The F will do pretty much as well as an RR in the hands of a newbie with the added comfort and practicality.

The engines are very good in terms of reliability but the cam chain tensioner has been a problem in some bikes.

Yup, Problem i have with mine at the moment. I have mod 3 in mine at the moment. 6 is out now so once ive got some cash ill get that done.

I own the F Sport. I moved up from an RVF. Love my CBR, taught me loads about bigger CC riding. Brakes are good, acceleration is awesome (i have PCIII on mine), handling is perfect.

I fully recommend them, can grab some steal of deals.

Andy

Is it worth sticking a PC on? I've got a Blue Flame race can on my CBRFS without one.

Always worth sticking a PCIII on a fuel injected Honda, really smooths out the power delivery and helps with the transference from neutral throttle to part throttle when cornering. Thumbs Up

Also ive got full s/s race exhaust system and K&N, Really does help it out alot. Not riden many other hondas but told without PC's they are fairly snatchy. Hope im right in saying that comment Thumbs Up
