Well just bought Banzai (the jap car mag) and my name is listed as the 3rd fastest RWD car at Crail. Thumbs Up

13.6secs 1/4mile ain't too shabby for a lightly modded 16 year old car eh.

Anyway that's my claim to fame! Laughing

You ever go through some sleepy hamlet and they have those signs at the Nat. Limit to say, "Thankyou for driving Carefully."?
So it's okay to drive like a twat after that sign?

Been on telly a few times now.

1st in 1985, i was only 15 and i was driving the then 'NEW' Leyland 'T45' RoadTrain HGV at Burtonwood airfield...
It was a PR stunt Leyland trucks but was on the BBC news and in the papers..

Then i was on 'Game for a Laugh' , again with Leyland trucks when they set up a 'road tester' with French stunt driver who put a 7 1/2 ton truck on 2 wheels without a ramp Shocked

I was on Coronation Street when 'Kev Webster' went banger racing, a select group was taken to the track midweek to film the episode and i was one the contact drivers who spun him out, we were filmed in the pits afterwards too.

I was on the news again for doing a car jump for charity,, 88 feet in an old estate car in aid of charity.

I've had 3 vehicles on TV, all in Coronation St..
My banger car, my 2.8 Capri was used in 4 episodes (used by the landlady's son 'Tony Horrocks' who played a drug dealer) and my Rascal van was on at the start of the programme driving down the street..
(I was the car valeter for the cast members for years.........fingers in many pies,,, non were furry though)

Been on TV a few times. Wheelieing an NTV down Kensington high street on Thames news when they were doing a bit on dangerous cyclists was possibly the funniest.
