I want to buy things through ebay so i want to set up a paypal acount. what type of acount should i use? Personal or premier? My mate says he uses a personal acount, but on the website it says personal accounts cannot accept debit card payments? and that premiers is best for use on ebay. does this mean i can just use a personal acount if i'm just buying and not selling? I may do a bit of selling in the future, so would it be best to set up a premier acount?

Just set up a personal account. You can upgrade it to premier at the click of a button when the time comes.

Remember to verify your account.

it says the amount of money i can send and withdraw is limited until i verify my account. how much can i send until i need to be verified?

so until i do step 2 of the verification and contact my bank in 3-5 working days to find out the exact amounts of the two deposits, i cannot buy something off ebay with paypal using my card?

Yes, you are ok to buy without verifying your account. The verifying is just to lift off the limits.

Some sellers might not like you if the account isn't verified, but for the most part you'll be fine.
