i know that there was that film which was a bit like '2 fast 2 furious' with bikes and the Steve Mcqueen prison break on the Triumph, 007 handcuffed to the oriental bird on the beemer.

But what is your favourite piece of bike on film.

My favourite is a cameo role but it has to be Tom Cruise as Maverick on the GPZ screaming down the runway at Mirimar alongside the F14 Tomcat on full afterburner in TopGun.

I would love to do that, (and Kelly Mcgillis)

The worse has to be the complete biopic of Evil Knievil!

Just for the sheer 'menace' of the scene my favourite has to Malcolm McDowell going into the dealer and just taking the bike in the film If...

Enjoyed the Eddie Kidd film as well, and silver dream racer wasnt half as bad as I had been told it was, hmmmm none of mine are Holywood productions, in that case the scene in The Fastest Indian where he goes past the local 'hard boys' on the beach, then tips over on the corner.

No motorbike stuff from a film has really blown me away. I remember the Arab guy jumping off the roof into the swimming pool on the gpz500 in True Lies simply because i have one.

Now don't get me wrong ... I'm INORDINATELY fond of Andy Garcia, Italians with cheekbones such as that boy has, are one of the finer things in life.

But the scene in Black Rain where the Yakuza lop his head off is pretty fucking cool.

Plus, I'm hearing something about a movie with Nicolas Cage (?Ghost Rider?). Bound to be naffness personified but ... phwoar.

Give me more Italians and motorcycles.
I'm gonna have to make a list

*chews end of her pencil*

Uhhhhhhhhhh ...
Brando . . .
Fonzarelli . . .
uh ... hmmm Embarassed

Okay, I'm sure some more will spring to mind presently Rolling Eyes

What about the bike action scene in Charlies Angels, Ithought the computer animation for those scenes were a bit over the top but if it were possible to do it would be cool

The Steve McQueen film/documentary 'On Any Sunday' is meant to be the best biking put onto celluoid, I haven't seen it though, other than clips, but looks cool. Nothing Hollywood, just McQueen and a load of mates thrashing about on off road bikes all over the place.

Silver Dream Racer sticks in the mind, for Brands Hatch GP circuit if nothing else!

Torque is an excellent film.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that was sarcastic, I hope I didn't accidently encourage anyone to watch this atrocity of a film, sorry.

How about the film Electraglide, I think it starred David Sole as a rogue traffic cop bumping people off. as the film suggests they used HD Electraglides.
I think it was an early 70s' film.

Still topgun for me though!
