New lid time

Since I wrecked my lid yesterday im in need of a new one.

Any recomendations im looking at spending a max of $300.

Im thinking some thing black maybe even mat, but how hard is it to keep the mat clean, I can imagine it getting those grease marks on it from bugs and road dirt and ruining the lid.

Pissed off lol cant find a decent lid here in my size im stuck with either a plain black xr 1000 shoei or another HJC or a helmet made by GMAX

I just wanted to try something different.

Right well tried on some more shoei's today but they didnt have any decent ones in my size I was looking for the Joust (same as the one misc showed) or one similar but no luck.

So I went back to HJC decent helmets for a good price. Chose this one:

Tis a HJC CL-SP Phoenix. I like it cause its got that mat look And it seems HJC have a nice fit to them.

Pick it up come the first as they had to order it.

So will get proper pic's when I get her. Just gotta get a tinted visor now

No, i thought it was my helmet for "TEH FUCKING WIN!" lol. I caused 3 of my mates to buy shoei XR-1000's at the bmf after they tried mine on for fit and weight.

One thing about shoei is that you DO need to fit the chin curtain, it makes a lot of difference eliminating the wind noise. Most of it is due to the scooped profile of the helmet, allowing vast amounts of air under the chin and the sides.

I daresay that HJC make very good fitting lids for the price and i would certainly consider them dark horses. Too many HJC's have come ride best buy or ride recommended so i would say they're as reputable a brand as agv or shoei. If only GP racers would be endorsed by HJC, it'll do them a lot of favours!

Yeah, sorry, any pics from me are bound to be ultra shit, my camera phone has been used to photo lots of random shit including me jacking off, hence the spunk and blurriness of the screen
