Right,
The bit you pull up has a little stick bit in the middle (its the best way i can describe it), that had bent and as a result it was not pushing the two seperate parts of the zip together firmly enough, so it was pulling itself apart very easily.
Inside the jacket there is the zip for the thermal / inner liner... well i never used it so i used the zip toggle from there, and replaced it on the main jacket zip. The stick in the center of this one is fine as the zip was never used realy, so it now works fine
Ive had a good ol' tug on it to make sure its fine and it definately holds up now
Now im left with the problem of what to do with it, being a size 40 its now a bit too short for me, but its such a nice jacket and ive only worn in 2/3 times, if that!
I duno, it would be easier if the jacket i had bought at the BMF was a better fit. I might just sell them both and invest in a new jacket somewhere/somehow.
But i dont think ill find a sexy jacket that fits me / matches with my other kit for the price i got at the BMF
Anyway, the jacket in question is now up for sale in the mart section if anyone is interested (there is a picture there) ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...
