I have got an X reg speed fight 2 that just won't spark, I have changed the coil, the lead, spark plug and regulator rectifier but still no joy. When I turn my red or black key the immobiliser flashes 3 times then once for longer then goes off. The starter motor turns over but the bike just won't start. Does this mean that the immobiliser is faulty? Help please I am at my wits end. I am a desperate man now.

Take plug out, put thumb over hole, crank engine, if it blows your thumb off it should have enough compression to start.

Or get a compression gauge, screw into plug hole, hold throttle open and crank engine, check readings.

Would the compression fault stop is from getting a spark. Sorry I am new to bikes and don't much at all.

Do you mean kick or electirc start when you say turn it over?

Wouldn't affect the spark, compression is mechanical spark is electrical.

Either both do the same. but you don't need to.

Your spark is the problem, You need to find if there is power going to the coil, what alarm is it and how is the immobilizer wired up? It could be the immobilizer. Your battery is ok as the starter turns.

My immobiliser is I think a magner marelli. the immobilser light just goes on once for a bout 3 seconds when I turn the black key. When I use the red key it goes on once then flashes twice, I have tried reprgramming it but with no joy. I would of thought because it is flashing then it is working, everyone elses who's have broken have not been flashing.

I also chnaged the relay last night but that did not help neither.
