I've downloaded some episodes of Lost and when I put them onto DVD using Nero after about 5 minutes on each episode the sound ends up having a second or 2 delay. They are fine on the PC while playing the original it's only when they are converted.
Any ideas ?

Make sure you have the sound set to just stereo and you are making a PAL dvd in the burn settings.

Are you converting these episodes from a divx release?
And are you using just nero or nero vision express?

Was using Nero VE. It was set to PAL and audio was automatic.
It takes ages to covert, anything faster than a real time convert ?

Some claim to be faster but none are really as reliable as NVE and belive me i have tried a lot.
It doesnt take me to long to convert a full divx to dvd on best quality, but if you like i,ll sort you a few progs out later on and you can try them.

What are you mostly converting? divx or mpeg?

DivX
If Nero is ok I'll just stick with that m8, I'll have a play with the settings and try it again.
4 hours to convert and it's wasted. Laughing

Hey! When i convert episodes of Lost I use VSO DivX to DVD, it is reliable (has converted all the episodes I have tried with it perfectly) and does it in real time -ish (takes about 1 hour for me to convert an episode which is 45 ish minutes long - using a 1.5GHz processor).

After it converts it it then burns it to DVD, plays fine in the DVD player. Give it a try if you want, I have a cracked version if you want? Thumbs Up
