I'm having a bit of a problem with CS2 at the mo. It keeps crashing as its running out of space. Scratch disc is set to C: and there is about 28gb of free space, when I try an crop a simple image (about 1mb) it then creates a 28gb temp file and comes up with a scratch disc full message. Once I finally get CS2 to close (it usually stops responding) the temp file disapears. Any got any suggestions?

PC is an opteron 146, 2gb Ram running windows 2003.

Cheers

Dave

Cheers for the link. But I still can't seem to get anywhere. I have tried altering the scratch disc from C to my other drives and it still does the same thing. C is a 36gb raptor and the other 3 drives are 200gb sata drives. Which ever I use, it still says scratch disc full, creates a massive temp file and the crashes photoshop. The temp file then delets itself as CS exits. There is even more space on these drives than the 28gb on C, G has 114gb and F has 74gb. C is not fragmensted as I did I fresh install of windows a few weeks back.

Going to try and de-frag my drives now. Will let you know how I get on.

For what its worth, I have just formatted and defragged C and it still the same.

Edit: just updated CS2 and its not different.
