Mains Charger for Razr V3 and Creative Zen Micro? Both USB.

Hmmm. My Creative Zen Micro came without a mains charger.

It charges from my USB port and has a small usb connection interface. So does my Razr V3, which also charges from USB.

USB is 5v and is universal. So when I go away this weekend with no computer access, I can charge my Creative Zen from my V3 mains charger, right?

So why the hell am I so nervous about plugging it in. Rolling Eyes

Wierd isn't it? I'm usually the last one to be worried about such things.

does it still have a garentee ? if so just plug it in now so if it smokes and goes bang you take it back to the shop and tell them you didnt touch it. Thumbs Up

My iRiver charges quite happily from my V3x charger, so I doubt there will be a problem Thumbs Up

With low voltage supplies like the Motorola power supplies it's almost impossible to damage anything, I studied electronics and I'd be perfectly happy to plug one into the other.

In fact, the other day a mate needed to charge his V3, and I'm a nokia fan, so I rigged up a charger from an old USB-miniUSB cable and an apple iPod charging block with a USB port on it.

Quite pleased with that.
