Firstly, old thread is old. Secondly, look at the reference code that's printed on the battery; it'll give you something to google, so you can find a similar battery on t'tinterwebs.
chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.com would be a good place to start loking for parts, though. ____________________ '10 SV650SF, '83 GS650GT (it lives!), Questionable DIY dash project, 3D Printer project, Lasercutter project |

Lambo1996 wrote: | What do you mean by the thread is old? | A conversation on a forum is called a thread. This thread first started some years ago, and had been left to die about a year and a half ago. You resurrected it with your question; as a rule, it's generally accepted that if a thread has been left for a long time (typically longer than a few months), it's better to start with a new thread.
Forum etiquette aside, have a look on the parts website I listed, and see if you can get a reference number for the battery; I'm sure there are cheaper suppliers online, or you might be able to get a bike shop to turf one up for not much money.
As an example, this ebay page has got one for £32. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the reference number available, although with the dimensions that are listed, as well as the voltage and the capacity specification, I'm sure that some focused googling could give you a reference number to work with. ____________________ '10 SV650SF, '83 GS650GT (it lives!), Questionable DIY dash project, 3D Printer project, Lasercutter project |
