I work in smokey arcades and bingo halls repairing the slot machines. I cannot wait for July.

The age of which one can buy Tobacco in the UK is to rise to 18 from October.

I thought the decision to ban smoking was sneaky. All I heard on the news was that they were considering a partial ban, but that might not even happen. Then all of a sudden they've decided on a full ban.

I don't like the scare tactics they use on the radio either. Mostly because they seem to bend the truth alot. Anyone heard the warnings? I'd like them to do the same with an expert on oxygen...

Bullcrap, they think it will lower the figures if they change the age?

They wont stop.

I smoked for a few months, so glad I gave up it's unreal. 2 of my friends didnt give up, both are trying, both are failing, both for the same reason, the same reason I sometimes succumb.

That irrestible half drunk down the boozer cig.

As a barman, I can also say it does effect my breathing, if I work most nights in a week, im much more likely to cough etc. And as for the smell, both at work and nights out I hate it.

My two cents. Dont really care if anyone disagree's. I see the argument for loss of freedom, I just dont care.

Couldnt agree more, i work as a barman and everyone sits at the bar smoking and as one of the few non-smoking staff it really effects you. Over summer or regular work i was getting a cough and felt like i was a smoker.

Also everytime i came home my cloths smelt like a night out so couldnt wear them out till i washed them Thumbs Down . July should be much better Thumbs Up
