well they pay for it through the nose + 10% fuel consumption , though my dad puts them on when parking up and night to prevent vandalism and takes them off when he drives off in the morning.

A while back when Chesterfield got to the FA cup semis....local supporters, tied a bit of blue and white ribbon on their ariels.....now this was ok, quite acceptable. Infact I have to confess I did it too.... cos it looked nice.

But these massive flags just look twatish

bet my neighbour will have the full size flag hanging out of his bedroom window tomorrow. Rolling Eyes

I was in Leeds today and some bloke with a white Escort had made his bonnet into a flag with red insulation tape. He had 4 of those wee flags and two England flags on his wing mirrors. Confused Rolling Eyes

Racists, LOL.

But yeah, they are fairly lame, however the world cup is a most excellent tournament so I will just ignore the bollocks and enjoy it.

I thought it was to proclaim you were a true 'chav' styled person.

Both my parents are English and so says my passport etc, I am of caucasian origina, yet I would not be seen with one of these. However I have seen people of Asian origin with these.

Laughing I was waiting for someone to start a thread on this; nearly set one up myself last week but couldn't be arsed in the end.

There's already one bedroom window flag on display down my road. A fair few cars around here had West Ham flags on show but they've largely disappeared since last saturday Smile

Next you'll be telling us that you want the English flag banned from been shown in public. Rolling Eyes Aren't people allowed to show that they are proud to be English? Plus it's the world cup in 3-4 weeks so let em show off there pride for the short time before it gets banned due to political incorrectness. It only happens every 4 years... christ. Rolling Eyes

Pride in what?

Most of the people that talk about 'Pride' in England are also those who have done everything they can to make England a place impossible to be proud of.

I constantly hear and read, including on here, about the lack of being able to express your nationality if your English. Then when people do you all bitch and moan about the way in which they do it.

Which would you actually prefer?
