Moved out when I was 20 - lived in three different places then moved back in with the folks when I was 26. The aim being to save for my own place - but house prices round here are horrific |

Moved or in the process of moving out.
Im 20, girlfriend is 17, with a 14 month old daughter and a 5 day old daughter.
3 Bedroom house we have, council property, im working, she obviously isn't.
Its a strange feeling but a feeling your moving on in life...
Then theirs the money side of it..
Decorating costs
Furnishing Costs
Living Costs
All adds up, we got 100 for decorating from the council as an old boy had owned the home previous to us and lived there for 48 years hence the decor, carpets and curtains are all circa 1960s...
Some of the carpets are liveable, others not...
So far we have done the kitchen, that cost us around 100 quid for decorating materials including laminate flooring, and around 200 - 300 again for major appliances such as washing machine, cooker and all the odds n sods...
All adds up mate... ! |

I was 18, went to that there London to do a live-in bar job with the NAAFI.
Moved back briefly at 21 when I had my lad after splitting up with his dad, was there for about 3 months then got my own place and been pretty much self-sufficient ever since.
Still can't persuade my own kid to leave though well he's at Uni now and living in halls officially but still comes back most weekends and holidays and he's 21. ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |

I think living away from home is so much better, i love my family but i feel i have learnt so much not being at home, much more independant now  ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

I moved out when I was 18 years old.
Moved into a Flat where a mate was currently living. Converted the Front room into my bedroom.
The place is basically a 2 Bedroom "Bedsit". No front room. But to be honnest, Our rooms are big enough for a bed, Sofa, Desk/PC, Guitar amps etc. So its sound.
Were renting, But as soon as I can get into a Mortgage setup I will...
My flatmate was kicked out when he was 15 years old. He had a fight (fist fight) and beat up his stepdad. lol!
He did well actually, Started off on the Dole living in a hostle. As soon as he was 16 he applied at Kwikfit as an apprentice. And managed to pay his £300 a month rent, and live off the other £100 he earnt.
Me moving in really helped him out because he saved £150 rent a month.

I was 17.... I woke up one morning and my mother said... "I've found you a flat!" ____________________ Funny, I used to hate being spanked as a child!

My parent’s split up when I was 16, and instead of having to choose who to stay with, I decided to go on my own, moved 18 miles away to Lincoln got a bed-sit and worked as a labourer, until I decided what path in life to take,
So left at 16, it was a big world out there, but I made it (of course had to get on me ped for the occasional Sunday lunch at mums )
also no mobile phones then ____________________ latest bike 03 R1 in zee red and black |

19 for a 3 years , then moved back with my Dad for a few months after a triple shooting outside my house at the time.
Then came the walkabout period
ie me + bike travelled the country in search of work, working short temp contracts living in dive after dive after dive
I came back north and cheaply rent a crappy house which has hookers walking up and down the street outside all night. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
