Dunno what it is, it's weird... But I just feel that I can't be bothered doing anything... Been like this for quite a while now... Like it's effort to go downstairs and make tea, effort to fart around with contact lenses at night, effort to unlock the bike etc... (See where I'm going with this? Lol)

Anyone felt like this before? I'm in a rut that I can't break out of LOL.

SAD may be the problem, I get slightly 'depressed' and feel down and generally miserable when the weather sucks.

You drinking normally?
What sort of shifts you working?
What time you getting up/going to bed?
Do you get to sleep when you do go to bed? How many hours on average?
Drinking much alcohol?
Taking any drugs (legal or otherwise)?

Know the feeling.

I find it helps to find things you like doing and err, do them Smile.
If you know you're doing something fun/good in a few weekends time, it means you've got something to look forward to and you tend to keep this in your thoughts more, leading to a generally more positive outlook.

Don't know, I spent too much time online but I can't think of anything I can do to fill the gaps when I'm not working.

Well, that sounds ok.

Something to try. Don't wake up in the dark. Leave your curtains open so you have daylight in the room when you wake up.

Cool will try that although people in the car park opposite will be able to see in my room, the filthy perverts.

Which has a scored rear disk, spongy front brakes, a chain about to snap it's so worn out, idling problems, massive flat spot from idle to 4k, weeping fork seals...

Sounds like fun Razz

Get a new cheap chain (down gear a bit while you're at it) and learn to wheelie! Smile

I was thinking of downgearing anyway.

I don't really want to go down on the front as people say it fucks the chain quicker than normal... Should I go one up on the back?

Bear in mind its a 35bhp commuter bike I'm not sure what I'd need to do, but GS users have reported going down on the front doesn't really knock top speed as it can't reach its full redline anyway

Afraid not, I used to spend loads of time on the bike until the intruder light went and the weather started getting shitty.

Waiting on parts anyway, and will probably get a garage to fit them LOL.

One down on the front is very roughly equivalent to three up on the back.
Yes, it does wear the chain very slightly more. It also saps a teeny bit of power as well (heavy chain-metal has to go from doing a high speed one way to another way in an even shorter time).

If you're replacing them anyway, I'd try one down one up and see how that feels.

Maybe the first part you should get is a new light Wink.

I think also more excerise would help you here, when i came to uni i was pritty lazy but joined the gym after a while and it really helped. The more i went the more i wanted to go again and would start chosing the stairs instead of a lift and things like that. Helped me with my uni work aswell as was far more motivated.

However, the gym isnt for everyone and if thats you then find a sport that you enjoy like rugby, football or hockey etc. This is also a great way to meet new like minded people.

I get like that at this time of year too, I find having a good sort out of my possessions, eating healthily, getting as much daylight as possible and taking more exercise tends to help.

Fcuk, I've been like that for the past year, getting down about work, money relationships can all affect your mood. I just can't be arsed to motivate myself.

I desparatly need a new bike cuz I'm always happy knowing I have some wheels to go for a 'cheer me up/de-stress blast' somewhere. Started back the gym and 5-a-side to give me something else to do.

I spend waaaaay to much time infront of a computer these days which can't help.....and giving up alcohol makes the nights fair drag in!! Laughing
