Ok, basically seen a Akapovic can for sale that is advertised to fit a 2003 CBR-RR but wondered if I buy a alternative connector pipe would it fit a 01 R6 just fine?
Probably a silly question, but I just want it clarified before I part with any cash!
P.S. Any info on where to find appropriate link pipes greatly received! |

Performance Parts (0870 240 2118) are the UK Akrapovic importers and I have used them before to get spare parts for an Akrapovic race can. I'm sure that they would be able to supply you with an R6 link pipe but you will need to make sure that the inlet port into the can is going to be the right size/shape and in the right place.
Also have you considered that you might need to buy the bracket to mount the can onto an R6 as it may be different from the CBR-RR bracket. Plus you will probably need the three springs to attach it to the link pipe and the clamp that attaches the link pipe to the stock R6 exhaust system.
It could end up being an expensive affair. ____________________ Yamaha YZF-R6 |
