As title says, how do the bikes aways point straight up in any picture of them? Browse any of the manufactorers sites and the bikes will always be vertical without any obvious means of support. Always made me wonder.

I remember once seeing one of the pics that hadn't been photoshopped, was a while ago but I remember some clear plastic thing and blobs of glue |

Thin strings? , my mechanic does NOT use stands of any kind , he uses a winch and ropes tied around the frame , use them thin enough ....
Also bricks under side stands , NC30s lean lots when on the side so you put bricks under it andits nearly verticle ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. Maybe someone holds the bike upright and the photographer shouts go, the stagehand legs it and he takes the shot before the bike hits the floor ____________________ Prev CBR600RR (06) Orange/Black

Strange that, as mine has a low mileage replacement shock and all nc30's I've sat on and ridden have been the same. |

feef - Now you mention it my fazer is almost upright on its sidestand. Would this happen if someone has "lowered" the bike for a shorter person? Ive always had my suspicions that the bike has longer dog bones than standard as it feels very low when i sit on it. ____________________ Current : '08 Yamaha FZ1s

Guys, guys, guys...I am sorry to tell you this, but you are all wrong.
You all heard of the Invisible Man right? Well he rides the bikes into the studio and sits on them whilst the photographer snaps away.
He was telling me he makes a fortune as he has no competition, hence he is in high demand for photo shoots all over the world. Lucky muvva fucka. |

I always thought that they drafted in Valentino Rossi to use his superhuman, physics-defying powers from a distance.
