Anyone got any info on usual choices of bikes and engines?
Could be fun. I've searched but to no avail.
Thankyou. ____________________ You ain't a has been if you never was |

If you want a bike that can get ridiculous lea angle etc, start with a competition motocross or enduro bike.
Use the engine which comes with the bike . |

The szr/xt/tt/raptor 660 engines go in easily. Rob Sturgess' 660 mito is easily one of the best looking mitos i've ever seen in my life. There was also a petronas coloured mito 660 in mcn a few weeks back. The newer engines are fuel-injected, so there'll be some remapping needed if they don't have an oxygen sensor. A good ol' carbed model would probably be best.
The mito chassis is definitely one to go for given the way the engine mounts and the fork and brake spec. The frame is easily strong enough, too. I've got a frame i'm using for mocking up parts for my planet, so that should be ready to be sold on in a few months.
