Hmm, is there a manual (with pictures) around anywhere? I would have *no* idea, and would rather avoid wheeling it to a dealer (possibly with anything blaring/not starting)
I've found the info on the Datatool site, however given that I have no idea where the bloody fuse is, or which wires they are chuntering on about, I don't want it to snuff it
In theory it should only be in service mode and without the main battery for about 1 minute (unscrew, remove connections, remove battery, replace with charged new battery, and reconnect!) ____________________ Sans bike

A few minutes shouldn't be a problem.
Or a set of jump leads from a car to keep a constant current would do the job nicely. |

After all this, I bought an Optimate, and a new battery (just in case). £100 all in.
And the Optimate has green lighted the old battery after 4 hours. I've fitted up the connector leads, and hopefully will be off at the w/e

...and as an update, the new battery is in (was charged first) alarm survived the transfer, and I'm now checking the Optimate connections ____________________ Sans bike |
