SV650s say 9/10
Its really just what i want, it sounds lovly but only 70bhp, i really dont want anymore than that at the moment as i use it for commuting
Can do ridouts, commutes, gental riding, going for it on your own, really a multi purpose bike
BUT
Not real top end power, all mid and low but that what V-twins are so dont mind but will go for a IL4 next i think
There are a few areas i really want to change, first being the numberplate fixing, new undertray is needed which is almost £100
also suspension need new better spring and a IL600 shock as just feels vague and doesnt give any feedback
After a few hundred quid it will be perfect for a few years till i upgrade (this will be when i have a car aswell though ) ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet

10/10 - Because it's never given me a day's grief.
The number plate keeps mysteriously finding it's way into my rucksack on long trips though! I swear I don't know how that happened officer! |

91' VFR400 NC30 - 9/10
Done Europe twice, Brands/Silverstone/Nurburgring, two RWYB drag race meetings all without much in the way of complaint. Eat's up hard-riding 450 mile days with ease.
Real do-everything bike
It would have got a 10 but for some charging issues, but I can forgive it that. |

I'd give it 9 out 10 purely because it can turn its hand to anything. ____________________ Cbr1100xx blackbird gone, mk4 golf gt tdi chav now

Currently AR125
Performs quite well for a 125 with a reasonable kick off the powerband. Back end skips all over the place in corners but pretty flickable. Not the most uncomfortable. Somethings always breaking. On a rating of 125s I'd give it about 6 or 7. ____________________ Northern Irish? www.nibikers.com |

Peugeot speedfight 50
For a scooter it's got good handling, and good brakes. Also doesn't dive under braking thanks to the frong swingarm.
Small fuel tank and poor economy hold it back, though
8/10(in comparison to other scooters)

I'll be honest and do my two road bikes.
GSXR400 1990 - 5/10
Doesnt look too bad with the single seat unit but still very dated and round. Power is pretty not bad but sometimes a little boring on normal days (ie accelerating on a straight road) yeh it may be fun on twisty roads but being honest i was hardly ever on them so acceleration lacked.
Reliability was crap, broke down every day and cost £1700 in reapairs which still didnt fix it. Basically chucked it in the bin in the end.
ZX6R 2001 - 7/10
Bright yellow. Power was very very smooth which was quite boring, i wanted it to rip my arms off. Didn't look that nice bit bulky and bus like. Overall quite a nice bike to ride daily but i wouldn't get another pre 2003 (new shape) model. |

I'm a bit worried now
1994 RVF:
Performance - 6 - Adequate, but a real world 130mph isn't exactly slow for my type of riding. I haven't been faster down my favourite roads.
Handling - 8 - Very confidence inspiring. Felt like I could get away with murder on the thing, though low speed handling was pants.
Looks - 10 - RVFs still stop me in my tracks, plus that noise
Running Costs - 9 - Cheap as chips on fuel/insurance/wear and tear. 1 point knocked off for complexity of the V4.
Bike Meet Attraction Rating - 10 - I used to watch the magpies flock when parked up at bike meets, kids on day trips with their parents asked to have their photo taken next to it, I even got recognised a couple of times because of the bike (or just see the looks I used to get when riding through town (including people winding down their windows and complementing the bike at traffic lights )).
Overall - 9/10 - bugger; a better bike (for me) than the Blade?

GSXR400GK76a
8/10
good little sports bike really helps you learn to ride a sports bike, handles very very good but needs a fair amount of looking after and care, hard bike to setup (carbs etc) but worth it when its running right. I live at the bottom of corwall so the bike is perfect for the twisty roads. The bike looks very cool with its classic GSXR frame, finding a goodone is hard as most have been ragged but if you get one that has been pampered then it will make you smile alot!!! . No problem keeping up with other sports bikes if ridden well
